What’s useful to include

• A tool issue: name the tool — the Body Armor Level Guide, Plate Carrier Weight Calculator, Armor Plate Size Finder, MOLLE Capacity Planner, Gear Loadout Weight Calculator, or Ballistic Threat Lookup — and what you entered versus what you expected.
• A content or museum note: which page or which Armor & Protection Museum entry, and what looks off.
• A general question: the blog and learn sections cover a lot of this already and may save you a wait.

What we can’t do

This isn’t a manufacturer, dealer, or testing lab, so we can’t warranty gear, issue certifications, or give individualized safety or legal advice. For anything where the answer actually needs to be right — whether a specific plate meets a specific rating, or whether armor is legal to own where you live — that has to come from the manufacturer, an accredited lab, or a qualified professional, not from a calculator on this site.
